Optimized Octal X MIPS Cycling Helmet for CPSC

The Octal X Mips is a development of the award-winning Octal road helmet, tailored specifically to meet the needs of gravel and cyclocross riders. With an extended shell that covers more of the helmet liner compared to the Octal, the Octal X Mips offers enhanced strength properties while maintaining a very low weight. It shares many features with the Octal, including extreme ventilation, aerodynamic efficiency, a unibody shell construction, EPS liner, and POC's proven aramid bridge technology, providing extra strength and penetration protection. These features are all part of our comprehensive approach to helmet design and construction, which aims to deliver superior levels of comfort, fit, and performance. The inclusion of Mips enhances the helmet's rotational impact protection. In terms of specifications, the shell material is a unibody shell with an EPS liner, impact management is provided by Mips technology, ventilation is achieved through fewer but larger vents, and fit adjustment is offered by a 360-degree adjustment system. Unlike some helmets, the Octal X Mips does not come with a visor.
